Beauty Tips: How to Grow Your Hair in a Week

If you follow hair treatments, adjust your hair care routine and make adjustments to your diet you can grow your hair faster in a short period of time.

You can follow these hair treatments:

Warm oil massage on your scalp – you can use natural oils for improving the health of your scalp and encourage its growth.

Olive, jojoba, coconut, and argan oils are the best. Warm the oil and before you apply it on your scalp, rest in on your hand in order to make sure it is not boiling hot. 
Super Long Hair 

The temperature has to be comfortable so that it does not damage your scalp. Massage it with your fingertips in slow circular motion for 15-30 minutes.

After this, run the oil through your hair and let it stay for half an hour. Next, shampoo it more than once in order to remove the oil.

Hair mask – you can apply hair mask once or 2 times per week if you want to encourage your hair follicles grow faster. Make a mixture of 1 cup of coconut oil, 1 tbsp. of almond oil, macadamia oil, and jojoba oil and apply it on damp hair, letting it stay for 10 minutes. 

Afterwards, wash and condition your hair as you normally do. Use castor oil – it will help your hair grow healthier and faster. Massage your scalp with it and let it fall into your hair after which you will wrap it in a plastic shower cap and let it stay overnight. 

In the morning wash and condition your hair in order to remove it. Use apple cider vinegar – it is great in removing dirt, grime, and oil buildup, and other residues from styling products.

Use it when you don’t use the shampoo as a natural alternative, or apply it following your regular shampoo and conditioner routine. 

Take 2 cups of water and add 2 tbsp. of ACV in them with which you’ll rinse your hair. The smell will fade away, don’t worry. Combine essential oils – take 2 drops of each jojoba, cedar wood, thyme, rosemary, and lavender essential oils and massage them on your scalp 3-5 nights per week.

Consume these foods to make your hair grow faster:
  • Lean proteins, especially salmon that I high in omega-3 and vitamin D;
  • Walnuts (vitamin E);
  • Eggs (iron which carries oxygen to the hair follicles);
  • Spinach (folate, beta carotene, and iron);
  • Sweet potatoes;
  • Blueberries;
  • Greek yogurt;
  • Plenty of water.
Useful advice:
Cut down your shampoo routine to 2-3 times weekly – this will allow the oils on your scalp penetrate your hair. Shampoo your hair properly by rubbing and massaging on your scalp and then let the shampoo run down the hair strands while you wash the shampoo.

Always condition your hair – it helps in replacing the lipids and proteins in your hair shaft, allowing it grow longer and heathier.

Avoid wrapping your wet hair with a towel – better use thin and soft microfiber towels as they are made of materials which are gentle on your hair and dries it well without breakage.

Brush your hair before going to bed – you can start at your scalp and use even strokes to go through each section at least once. In this way you will increase circulation on your scalp and improve its health, encouraging hair growth. - Online Sources
